Positive: Staff was nice. Room was nice.
Negative: Pillows were not comfortable. Blankets were thin. Would have been to nice to have a coffee maker in the room and some more soap, lotion and a Do Not Disturb door hanger in the room like most hotels. Couldn't find the mini fridge if there was one.
Summary: It was good. My family lived in the area until 2017, so was nice to be back and revisit old haunts.

Positive: Amazing views of the city from our room. Well designed room with a very comfortable bed. Great location with a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
Negative: The rooftop bar, which looked amazing on the website and was a key reason for us choosing the Moxy, was advertised as being open on Friday and Saturday from 4pm. It was closed on the Friday night and on the Saturday night we were told it wouldn’t open until 10pm. When we went up at 10 we were told there was an event on and they weren’t ready to serve. We finally got a drink but we’re not made to feel welcome.
Summary: A great hotel but don’t expect to use the roof top bar

Negative: We were very disappointed that the roof bar was not open during our entire stay. Was closed for private functions and also stayed open till 4am, meaning that we experienced a lot of noise. Weddings and private functions were seen as more important than mere guests
